Project description:
The project aims to establish, operate and maintain a competence center at Obuda University, in close cooperation with the consortium partners, which is capable of market-oriented research in the field of medical information systems. The Competence Center is aimed at the widest possible area of application and development of medical information technology: – Patient, patient sample, measurement result, image, learning database enhancements; – Encryption and transmission of patient data; development of medical histology and cell research instruments and treatment programs; routines for image and measurement data sets and treatment forms for diagnostic and research purposes; management and evaluation of parametric, artificial intelligence-based and handling of tissue, cellular and genetic information. – Development of software for tracking and analyzing „in vivo” acquired physiological or pathophysiological metabolic abnormalities in diabetes. – Combining modern computer modeling with advanced tumor models to design and optimize treatment protocols. – Supporting a specific area of medical informatics, collecting frames, goals, results, and evaluations of animal experiments to help reduce the number of animal experiments. To this end, the partners in the Competence Center will develop their initial operating and business policies during project preparation, and then the appropriate organizational structure to meet the project application goals and support the consortium partners’ research and business strategy. Obuda University has identified as a strategic goal the development and launch of medical information related training to meet the human resource needs of the Competence Center, the participating consortium and non-consortium partners, and the medical information technology industry.
