Melánia Pamuki-Puskás

Phd student

Melánia Pamuki-Puskás received her BSc degree in Computer Engineering in 2021 and her MSc degree in 2023. She is currently a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Applied Informatics and Applied Mathematics at Obuda University. Since 2020, she has been a member of the Physiological Controls Research Center. Starting in 2021, she has been involved in teaching activities — first as a teaching assistant, and now as a PhD student — in the courses of Systems and Control Theory, Control Engineering, Systems Theory, and Robot Control. In 2021 and 2023, she achieved 1st place at the National Scientific Students’ Associations Conference. In 2022, she was awarded the Excellence Student Award by the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics at Óbuda University. She achieved 1st place in 2021 and 2022, and 2nd place in 2023 in the IEEE Hungary Section Student Paper Contest. She is currently conducting research within the TKP2021-NKTA-36 project titled “Innovative and Digital Development and Evaluation of Cybermedical Technologies.” Her research focuses on the development of a noise model to be applied in animal experimental measurements, under the supervision of Dr. Dániel András Drexler. She is the author of more than 20 scientific publications. She has been a member of IEEE since 2020 and she is the Chair of the IEEE Hungary Section Women in Engineering Affinity Group since 2024.
