Dr. Gábor Csiszár

Scientific Group Leader

Dr. Gábor Csiszár got his MSc degree in Mathematics and Physics in 2008, and earned his summa cum laude PhD degree in Solid State Physics and Materials Science at Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamás Ungár in 2013. In 2014, he was rewarded with a fellowship at Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart. Currently, he works as a group leader at the Univerity of Stuttgart. His main research focuses on advanced materials in the field of nanomechanics and computational material science. His ongoing research programs span across multiple disciplines; from theoretical studies in terms of nonlinear elasticity in 1D objects to diffusional phenomena, equipped with computational investigations with the goal of also applying artificial intelligence.
