Dr habil. László Szilágyi is Associate Professor at the University of Óbuda. His research interests include image processing, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence and bioinformatics.He has published 23 peer-reviewed journal articles and more than 100 international conference papers, with an impact factor of more than 31, 800+ independent citations and an h-index of 13. He is a two-time recipient of the János Bolyai Research Fellowship of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (2010 2018). He is a member of the Asia-Pacific Neural Network Society (APNNS) since 2015 and a program committee member of the annual International Conference on Modeling Decisions in Artificial Intelligence (MDAI) since 2012. He is also a co-founder of the startup company HandInScan ZRT. Hungary ( www.handinscan.com), which provides multiple award winning technology for infection control in hospitals.
