Borbála Gergics received her biochemical BSc degree in 2020 and her biomedical egineering degree in 2022 at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the Doctoral School of Applied Informatics and Applied Mathematics of Óbuda University. She started her research activities at the Physiological Controls Research Center in 2020. Her research topic is related to the tumor modeling and therapy generation sub-project of the research group under the supervision of dr. András Dániel Drexler. She applies her bioengineering background in the examination and mathematical modeling of three-dimensional in vitro tumor models in collaboration with the HUN-REN Drug Resistance Research Group. She is an IEEE member from 2020, and the Membership Development Officer of the IEEE Hungary Section from 2024.
