Adina Chotbaeva

PhD student

Adina Chotbaeva is currently pursuing a PhD at Óbuda University’s Doctoral School of Applied Informatics and Applied Mathematics in Budapest, Hungary. Previously, she earned a Master’s degree from Tomsk Polytechnic University and a Bachelor’s degree from Kyrgyz State Technical University, both in Biomedical Engineering. 

Her professional experience includes working as an intern at GIZ BACKUP Health, a teaching assistant at Kyrgyz State Technical University, and a specialist at the Kyrgyz-German Technical Institute. She has also held assistant manager roles at Ident LLC and AQUA MEDTEK LLC. 

One of their key projects involved developing a support system for patients with diabetes mellitus, utilizing a Telegram chatbot to enhance healthcare communication and streamline interactions between patients and medical professionals. She has also been actively involved in the Biomedical Engineering Club and the Central Asian Youth Partnership Group. 

Her studies are supported by the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship. In 2022, she won 2nd place in the Make-A-Thon FabLab competition, organized by KOICA.
