Mátyás Szigeti



Mátyás Szigeti obtained his degree in military and safety engineering (BSc) from Óbuda University in 2010 and his biomedical engineering degree (Msc) from Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2012. He continued his studies at University of Leicester where he obtained his medical statistician (MSc) degree in 2014. After that he joined to the Imperial College Clinical Trials Unit. He is the author of 8 research papers and as a co-author he won the Bristish Medical Journal UK Research Paper of the Year 2017 award. He is a member of the Royal Statistical Society since 2016 and both the Hungarian Clinical Biostatistical Society and International Society for Clinical Biostatistics since 2017. His research interests are the extreme value statistics and the generalisability of clinical trial results. He is currently pursuing his PhD degree at Obuda University Doctoral School of Applied Informatics and Applied Mathematics under the supervision of Dr. habil. Tamás Ferenci.
